I already told you with His next two
sentences He separated the heavens and the earth and He created dry
land and oceans to be formed. Its similar, God again only spoke, and
they were created. God created matter with the expelling of wind and
sound. Words. Words contain Power. "Handle
them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs. " —
Pearl
Strachan Hurd. With the
creation of matter came the creation of atoms, for atoms lay
in the heart of all matter. Do you know what is contained at the
center of every atom? Protons and Neutrons, positive and neutral
electronic charges. Many of us at one point in life if not more than
once have taken a magnet and tried to stick it to another magnet with
the same polarity. Some magnets are so strong we cant do that, other
magnets we can stick together but it takes effort. We usually have to
force them together and us force to hold them together, or they will
repel away from each other. At the heart of an atom there are any
number of protons but as of right now the largest element atom
contains 92 and is uranium and the smallest is hydrogen with 1. Why
am I teaching you this strange science lesson you might ask? Keep
reading and let me tell you. If we were to take 1 teaspoon of protons
and put it at the north pole and 1 teaspoon of protons at the south
pole, that's positive electric charge. It would take 30,000
TONS of pressure
to hold them that close. Any
less pressure and they would ricocheting into space, like a bucket of
bouncy balls dropped from the empire state building!
This is huge!
God
binds all of these protons together at the center of each atom! Using
way more force than I mentioned above to hold them together and
created everything out of them! And how do you think He did it? With
words!
He
spoke and it was.
There was no delay or God getting His hands dirty, He simply said it
and it was done. “Words are singularly the most powerful force
available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively
with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair.
Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to
hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”—
Yehuda
Berg.
That is the Power of Words. Words contain an amazing amount of
weight. They are so immensely important to us as humans and can make
a huge change in our lives for the better or the worse. But to God
they contain more power than we can ever imagine!
John 1:1-5&14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
We know from this passage that Jesus was the Word of God incarnate, in the flesh made to walk and talk with us as a man. Nothing was made without Him. It was through Jesus all of this was made, light and darkness, the heavens and the earth, water and land. God did it all with Jesus. The man of the hour! The man whose words healed the sick and lame, whose words set the captives fee, whose words set us free from transgressions and sins, whose dying words were "Father forgive them!" Another quote that I could not shake as I wrote this comes to mind. “Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.” ― Patrick Rothfuss. Jesus spoke and people wept, they turned there lives in a whole new way. People who did not know Him followed after Him at being simply asked. They gave up everything to be with Jesus, because He was the living Word and as I have stated all through this blog Words have Power!
I hope that this was to you what it was to me, a whole lot of fun to think about. This blog has taken me 3 days to write due to so much thought and so much joy discovering and researching Gods amazing Word! Please comment or message me with your thoughts or comments or questions. I would love to know your honest feed back and to hear your honest thoughts and feelings on this.
Much love,
The Bear.
